Public Input Meeting for Central portion of Austin- Monday, April 14, 2008

The Austin Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting a series of public meetings to discuss the future planning for updating the Parks and Recreation Long Range Plan for Land and Facilities.

The goals of the meeting are to:
1. Outline the process for updating the Parks and Recreation Long Range Plan for Land and Facilities
2. Group discussion on identifying strengths, opportunities and challenges that exist within the Parks System within the respective planning area boundary in Austin (see map for boundary information)
3. Prioritize future opportunities for the next 5 to 10 years

If you have any questions prior to the meeting, please contact Ricardo Soliz at 512.974.6765 or Jenna R Neal jenna.neal@ci.austin.tx.us 512.974.6790.
