(Press Release) Great fun and even better seafood are coming to the Austin Area in the form of The Dry Dock at the Canary Nest Restaurant at Allendale and Burnet Road. The restaurant features broiled, blackened, sautéed, and fried seafood and catfish. There are also specialty dishes like gumbos, stuffed seafood items, and oysters on the half shell. An exquisite custom dessert bar compliments their fabulous menu.
The fun parts of the Dry Dock can be found at the separate “USS Minnow” Oyster Bar, at the adult beverage area with multiple big screen TV’s and Y-Fi, and the raised Karaoke stage. There is a multi-tiered patio area where smokers and pet owners can consume with like minded diners. We feature a “Happy Hour” with many food and beverage specials.

They've got excellent food! I had the fried combo with fried shrimp anf calamari served with garlic toast (with a nice dash of rosemary), fries (lightly battered), tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and a great spicey marinara (good dash of red pepper flakes in there). My friends had broiled scallops (melt in your mouth) and stuffed catfish. We all agreed we'll be back soon. Also their prices are reasonable (1 doz oysters just 5 bucks)
