I'd like to know what ANA found out that led them to oppose the development, rather than just a blanket statement.

Allandale Board Members, thank you for issuing a statement that reflects the response on the ANA's two recent surveys. It is great to live in a neighborhood with such a high level of community involvement. In what forum should we expect to see feedback from the city council on the request to direct the city manager to suspend the permits until additional due diligence is performed?

Thanks so much for the many steps you have taken to understand the Wal-Mart issue from all viewpoints.
We really appreciate the many hours you have spent on this matter and are grateful for the statement you released which reflects the majority vote from your constituency!! Keep up the good work, Allandale Board Members.

On behalf of Responsible Growth for Northcross, we appreciate your willingness to publicly voice your position on an issue that affects our neighborhoods for years to come.

Thanks for releasing this. I just linked to this page from the new Responsible Growth for Austin blog.

I think the ANA should flag the media on its position statement.I believe it is being minimized due to certain individuals' fawning over Walmart to the media, speaking "on their own" whilst mentioning their leadership in the ANA. We need to be LOUD in our opposition because the delivery trucks driving down our streets will be LOUDER! Think about it....

Yes, it would be more appropriate if you could see it when you go to allandalereporter.org

Why don't you put the position statement directly on the web page (as is done with the other articles below) instead of burying it in a PDF?
