Lamar Fest 2006 - "Luau Lamar" On Friday, October 12, 2006,
6-9 p.m., Lamar Middle School will
open its doors to the public to participate in Lamar's annual fundraising festival,
the "Lamar Luau". The Luau, which will be located at 6201 Wynona (on
the corner of Koenig and Burnet) will provide various types of food and drink
as well as LIVE MUSIC featuring bands from MacCallum H.S., as well as O'Henry
and Lamar Middle Schools. The Luau will also have a variety of fun booths, both
inside and outside the school, including, a car bash, rock climbing wall,
pedestal joust, photo booth, dunking booth, animal and cake walks, tatoos and
hair painting, soda, radar and pringle tosses and much, much more. Tickets only
50 cents each.
