The Knights Start Their Quest

FOR DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP WITH WIN

The McCallum Knights started their run for district champs with a win over the Lanier Vikings last Thursday night at Nelson Field. McCallum held on in spite of Lanier’s valiant effort to tie the game up in the last few minutes, and came out ahead on the scoreboard 31 to 24. McCallum started the game off with a touchdown on its first possession on a 25-yard pass and completion from Daniel McElrath to Chris Bowser, adding the point after by Paul Tearson the score was 7-0 Knights.
